Dr. Yu would like to share some stories of his successes:
1. Female 82, blinded by laser surgery.
This patient gone blind from laser surgery 3 years prior to seeing Dr. Yu. On the first treatment, the patient was able to see some light. On the second treatment, her eye sight improved even more. It took 3 sessions before the patient was able to see clearly again. According to Dr. Yu, her eyesight is perfect without the aid of glasses.
2. Female 40s, came to see Dr. Yu in clutches.
This patient had trouble walking. After only one treatment, she was able to be free of the clutches and carried her them home. She came back one more time to completely remove herself from clutches and now can walk freely.
3. Female mid-40s, suffered from 2 strokes that affected half of her body.
Upon the first session, the client cried happily because she felt an extreme improvement. She was extremely scared of needles but overcame her fears to better health. She was perfect after 3 sessions with Dr. Yu. She now comes periodically when needed, i.e. back pain, etc.
4. Female 60s, had cancer of the blood for 12 years.
This patient has been on medication for the past 12 years trying to overcome this cancer. She had searched for different alternative doctors (including acupuncture) for the last 10 years. Recommended by a good friend for the last 3 years, this patient finally gave in and saw Dr. Yu when she had an issue with her tear ducts and couldn't control the tears. Seeing Dr. Yu 4 or 5 times a week for 8 months, the patient went to the hospital to check white blood count and was deemed normal. After 9 months, the doctors took her off the medications and is now free of cancer. She visited Dr. Yu a year later still in perfect health.
5. Male 84, chest pain and difficulty breathing.
The patient had pain when he breathed and came to see Dr. Yu for approximately 15 sessions before he was completely pain free. The patient also went to the hospital for check up and to the surprise of the doctors, they said that he was in perfect health and circulation.
6. Male 40s, had diabetes for 10 years.
This patient had blood sugar readings above 10 (4-6.3 is within normal range). After 10 sessions with Dr. Yu, his sugar readings reduced to 5-7 range. He came to see Dr. Yu after having difficulty seeing and having chills in the bottom extremities. However, Dr. Yu says that for a complete recovery, one must have sessions for about 6 months to 1 year. Symptoms include drink too much water and always feeling hungry. Dr. Yu has balance these cravings with acupuncture.
7. Female 35, car accident 9 years prior causing pain and misalignment.
This patient constantly visited the emergency centres for pain relief. Her results varied in the first 5 sessions. Then Dr. Yu decided to adjust her left shoulder and back and continued acupuncture sessions. After 3 sessions per week for 3 months, her bones are now aligned and she is pain free. Perfect!

Using Acupuncture to Treat Myometrial Fibroids and Cyst
A female patient came to Dr. Yu for the treatment of myometrial fibroids.
The first report received in May 2008 shows:
The uterus demonstrates two myometrial fibroids, the largest measuring 2.3 cm in the anterior myometrium. The endometrium measures 6 mm.
There is a left ovarian cyst of 2.4 cm
The next report of July 2008 reveals:
The uterus demonstrates a 3 cm calcified fibroid posteriorly.
The endometrium measures 7 mm.
The left ovarian cyst measures 2.2 cm, which appears to be septated.
The latest report in August of 2008 states:
The uterus demonstrates multiple fibroids, the largest measuring 1.3 cm.
The endometrium measures 5 mm.
The ovaries demonstrate normal appearing follicles. There is no free fluid.
The first report received in May 2008 shows:

Using Acupuncture to Treat Ovarian Cysts
The following patient came to Dr. Yu for treatment of a cyst.
In May of 2008 an examination revealed:
Endometrial lining measuring 0.7 cm in thickness having a hypoechoic focus at fundal region 0.7 x 0.5 x 0.6 cm probably a submucosal fibroid / polyp.
The right ovary contains a cyst of 1.9 x 1.2 x 1.9 cm probably a hemorrhagic cyst.
The left ovary contains a cyst of 2.0 x 1.6 x 2.2 cm probably a hemorrhagic cyst.
In October of 2008 an ultrasound revealed:
The endometrium measured 12mm in thickness.
The right ovary contains a simple cyst at 2.9 x 1.4 x 1.8 cm.
The left ovary contains a cyst measuring 1.5 x 1.8 x 1.2 cm.
Bilateral ovarian cysts. The one on the right could be an unruptured follicle and the left a hemorrhagic corpus luteum. However, with a history of left ovarian cyst, it is more likely a functional cyst.
A report on May 15, 2009 indicated the following:
The uterus appears retroflexed, bulky, and heterogeneous without discrete fibroid.
The endometrium measures up to 11mm in double layer thickness and appears homogeneous.
The right ovary contains a 1.9 x 1.6 cm dominant follicle.
The left ovary contains a 1.7 x 1.3 x 1.2 cm with low level internal echos.
Another report done on June 30, 2009 states:
The uterus is anteverted on transabdominal and retroverted on transvaginal study. The uterus measures 5 x 5.5 x 10 cm. The endometrium measures 6mm in maximum thickness. No focal abnormality is seen.
The ovaries are unremarkable with a few small follicles. The largest measured approximately 12 mm in the left ovary. No abnormal fluid collection or adnexal mass is demonstrated.

2) left fundal: 3.0 x 2.9 x 3.1 cm
3) cyst: 3.1 x 2.9 x 2.8 cm
and two smaller fibroids in the body
In January of 2010 another report measured:
1) fundal region: 8.2 x 8.0 x 7.9 cm
2) left fundal: 3.2 x 2.9 x 3.0 cm
3) cyst: 1.1 x 1.8 x 0.8 cm
In September of 2009, it was reported that this patient had 4 fibroids measuring:
1) fundal region: 8.3 x 8.0 x 7.2 cm

We would like to share one of Dr. Yu's success on reducing the size of fibroids in a female patient. She has been seeing Dr. Yu for acupuncture treatments twice a week for this issue. Before the treatments, the results of the ultrasound in May 2008 were as follows:
The following fibroids are measured:
1) fundal right calcified: 8.5 x 6.8 x 8.2 cm
2) right low calcified: 6.5 x 6.6 x 8.6 cm
3) left low calcified: 2.7 x 2.9 x 3.0 cm
4) left subserosal: 1.7 x 1.3 x 1.6 cm
5) fundal right subserosal: 2.6 x 1.9 x 1.7 cm
Another ultrasound was done in November 2009
